We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Primary Care Physician to join our team at the University of Rochester. As a key member of our Ambulatory Nursing team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Primary Care Network.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive primary care services to adult patients, including preventative health maintenance, chronic and acute care needs.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Conduct telephone triage, direct patient care, and minor laboratory testing as needed.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in the field.
- Must possess a strong foundation in internal medicine and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
- Requires a minimum of 6-12 months of experience in direct nursing care, with a focus on primary care and ambulatory settings.
- Active New York State RN license in good standing and a strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations.
