Primary Care Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Primary Care-Family Medicine professional to join our team at the University of Rochester. As a key member of our Ambulatory Nursing team, you will provide comprehensive outpatient care to patients of all ages, from newborns to seniors.
Responsibilities- Provide telephone triage and direct patient care, including medication and vaccine administration, minor laboratory testing, and patient teaching and health education.
- Work collaboratively with a team of LPNs, Ambulatory Techs, Physicians, and APPs to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Assess and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Supervise LPNs and Ambulatory Techs as assigned, promoting a culture of teamwork and excellence.
- Participate in unit/service activities, support colleagues, and assess unit needs to drive continuous improvement.
- Requires a Diploma, Associate, or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Nursing Program and an active New York State RN license in good standing.
- Minimum of 6-12 months of RN experience, with pediatric experience required.
- Strong assessment and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
