About the Role

Penn State Health is seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team in the Division of Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine. As a critical care specialist, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care to critically ill patients in our Level IV NICU.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in accordance with established guidelines and protocols
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Participate in rounds and contribute to the development of patient care plans
  • Provide education and instruction to residents, nurses, students, and other healthcare professionals
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and care processes
Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved Physician Assistant Program or baccalaureate or higher degree program that meets licensure requirements in the State of Pennsylvania
  • National Certification in Pennsylvania or in another State with reciprocity and licensure to practice in Pennsylvania
  • Experience in working in a Level III or Level IV NICU
