We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join our team in the Heart and Vascular Institute Critical Care Unit (HVICCU).

The successful candidate will be responsible for the direct critical care patient management in the HVICCU, including the management of complex therapies such as IABP, Impella, VADs, ECMO, CRRT, Respiratory Ventilators, Inotropes, Vasopressors, and Vasoactive Intravenous Medications.

The Physician Assistant will actively participate in daily rounds on patients during post-operative phases of care, perform assessments, and make medical management plan revisions in collaboration with physicians, consulted services, nursing, and interdisciplinary teams.

The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree from an AMA-approved Physician Assistant Program or a baccalaureate or higher degree program that meets licensure requirements in the State of employment. National Certification in the State of employment or in another State with reciprocity and licensure to practice in the State of employment is also required.

Requirements:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
