We are seeking a highly skilled Research Associate/Senior Research Associate to join our team at SSi People. As a key member of our Lead Discovery and Optimization Group, you will play a critical role in delivering novel therapeutics for disease intervention by engaging E3 ubiquitin ligases for targeted protein degradation.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Implementation of High-Throughput Cell-Based Reporter Assays: Develop and execute high-throughput cell-based reporter assays to characterize drug candidates and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Cell Line Establishment and Maintenance: Establish stable cell lines via lentiviral transduction and maintain mammalian cell lines for research purposes.
- Molecular and Cellular Experiments: Conduct routine molecular and cellular experiments, including DNA/RNA/protein extraction, immunoblot analysis, and immunoprecipitation.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with senior researchers to execute, conduct analyses, and report results of experiments, and communicate findings through written reports and oral presentations.
- Education and Experience: BS with 2+ years of experience post-graduation or MS.
- Expertise and Skills: Expertise in mammalian cell culture, plate-based cellular assays, immunoblotting, lentiviral infection, cellular transfection, and basic molecular biology techniques.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with medium and high-throughput screening, targeted protein degradation assay, and automation instruments and multi-mode plate readers.
