Core Responsibilities:

The primary objective of this role is to support adherence to regulatory standards, perform risk evaluations, deliver EHS training, investigate incidents, and conduct audits throughout the manufacturing facility.

Key Duties:

  • Oversee the safety initiative to enhance awareness of health, safety, and industrial hygiene.
  • Facilitate annual training sessions for employees regarding OSHA standards and safe operational practices.
  • Manage Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for each department and maintain a central repository.
  • Provide safety orientation for newly hired personnel.
  • Keep training documentation up to date for compliance with regulations.
  • Design and execute a strategy for the facility's industrial hygiene program in line with corporate policies.
  • Identify and address hazardous conditions or actions within the plant, recommending appropriate corrective actions.
  • Review, authorize, and draft Risk Assessments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in safety, environmental health, industrial hygiene, engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the EHS domain or a related field.
  • Experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
  • Certification as a CSP (Certified Safety Professional), CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist), or a similar credential is required.
