Job Title: Environmental Health Specialist

Michael Page is seeking an experienced Environmental Health Specialist to join our team. As an Environmental Health Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to create a safe work environment.
  • Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
  • Lead incident investigations and develop corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Provide training programs to educate employees on safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and report on environmental impacts, including air emissions, waste management, and chemical usage.
  • Manage and oversee safety programs such as hazard communication, PPE, and lockout/tagout procedures.
  • Maintain accurate EHS documentation and ensure timely submission of required regulatory reports.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health, Science, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations.
  • 3+ years of experience in EHS management, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to identify hazards and develop effective solutions.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills to conduct training and influence safety.
