Position Overview

Deliver exceptional and courteous service to clients that encompasses: sales, inventory management, order fulfillment, pricing strategies, product inquiries, promotional initiatives, and comprehensive customer support. Responsibilities also include showroom maintenance, organization, and cleanliness as necessary.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Welcome clients in a professional and supportive manner.
  2. Provide timely and courteous assistance by understanding client needs and responding appropriately.
  3. Efficiently process all customer warranty claims and credit returns, leveraging extensive vendor knowledge. Complete necessary documentation and manage product returns in line with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  4. Suggest additional products for purchase to clients and input sales orders into the Sales Order Entry System. Handle credit card transactions or cash payments following cash handling policies and SOPs.
  5. Respond to incoming customer calls, offering comprehensive customer service by providing quotes, processing sales orders, researching products/services, and addressing general inquiries.
  6. Maintain optimal product flow in the showroom and displays by stocking merchandise, organizing products according to merchandising guidelines, and ensuring cleanliness.
  7. Reconcile daily sales transactions with payments received in accordance with the company's cash handling policies.
  8. Identify outdated, slow-moving, or damaged inventory and report to management for markdown and expedited sale.
  9. Uphold a neat, clean, and professional appearance.
  10. Participate in training sessions on products and services to enhance product knowledge and deliver effective customer service.
  11. Proactively promote monthly specials and promotional items by reaching out to clients to boost counter sales.
  12. Notify supervisors during peak sales periods to minimize customer wait times.
  13. Perform additional tasks as required to maintain high standards of customer service through effective teamwork.
