Medical Operations Support Supervisor

Job Summary

The Supervisor, Medical Operations Support, plays a crucial role in overseeing the opening of new stores for Ross and dd's, as well as store relocations, natural disaster repairs, and going out of business programs. This position requires strong organizational skills, project management skills, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise a team of project leads and project coordinators in the planning and execution of new stores, store relocations, natural disaster repairs, and going out of business programs.
  • Own project timelines and conformance to budgets, including creation of project plans, communication to key stakeholders, and optimization of operational procedures.
  • Review installer bids through cost and quality lenses and recommend installer project allocations for leadership approval.
  • Drive creation and publication of installation schedule.
  • Validate satisfactory mitigation of site conditions and conformance to any municipal constraints on deliveries.
  • Escalate and resolve any concerns with the logistics vendor to ensure on-time delivery of fixtures, equipment, and signage.
  • Own the accuracy and completeness of kickoff meetings with stores, installers, and project partners.
  • Supervise and ensure satisfactory installation of fixtures, equipment, and signage for multiple waves of stores.
  • Drive process excellence for daily store calls, daily progress reports, and daily video calls with installers, to ensure execution is to standard, accurate, and high quality.
  • Proactively identify and escalate potential risks to project timeline and budget; and lead resolution plans to get project back on track.
  • Sign off on daily project status reports to management including issue resolution status.
  • Partner with Construction, Facilities, Loss Prevention, and other groups executing scope of work in the same stores, to maximize cross-functional coordination and efficiency.
  • Own accurate tracking of project costs within budget and provide frequent updates to finance partners and management.
  • Own the project punchlist to ensure effective and timely closeout.
  • Review the final project recap, including photo validation, with management, to support documentation of satisfactory project completion.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree required in business or related field.
  • Strong organizational skills, project management skills, and attention to detail.
  • Strong knowledge of store operations, fixtures, and installation processes.
  • Advanced proficiency in Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Smartsheet.
  • This role requires regular in-office presence, including attending in-person team interaction, meetings, and collaboration, client support, mentoring, coaching, and/or feedback. However, this role can perform duties effectively using a combination of in-office and remote work.
