The Role
This position is crucial for delivering 24/7 Tier II technical support and troubleshooting for field operations related to essential infrastructure equipment. This includes systems such as AC power distribution, grounding, fire safety systems, generators, Auto Transfer Switches (ATS), Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), and HVAC systems, among others. The goal is to maintain operational integrity, enhance efficiency, and minimize operational costs.

Main Responsibilities
- Provide Tier II support to field technicians and management during critical situations, reducing reliance on external vendor support for internal issues.
- Ensure core site readiness by identifying, documenting, and prioritizing deficiencies that require attention.
- Escalate urgent site issues to management for prompt remediation.
- Identify critical infrastructure needing replacement and collaborate with management to initiate the replacement process.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on task forces or cross-functional projects, offering solutions for technical challenges.
- Deliver in-office or onsite disaster recovery support for facilities and critical infrastructure.
- Assist program managers with maintenance scheduling.
- Ensure the accuracy of critical infrastructure information for the Business Continuity Planning (BCP) program.
- Provide onsite preventive maintenance inspection training and technical troubleshooting training to field technicians.
- Manage capacity for critical infrastructure within core sites.

What We Look For in a Candidate
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience with critical infrastructure and electrical systems (AC/DC power).
- Strong communication skills, capable of executing complex technical tasks and leading teams, vendors, and contractors.
- Willingness to travel on short notice for hands-on support during emergencies.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills to ensure clarity in specifications and expectations.
- A valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficient in internet and computing skills.
- Experience in providing guidance to team members.

Compensation
The starting salary for this role varies based on the employee's primary work location and individual qualifications. Salary ranges are typically between $70,710 and $94,270.
