Animal Care Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Animal Care Associate to join our team at All Community Animal Hospital. As an essential member of our pet care network, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and service to our furry guests.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe ideal candidate will possess strong animal handling skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering top-notch care. Your primary duties will include:
- Sanitizing and disinfecting pet enclosures and general boarding areas to ensure a clean and safe environment for all animals.
- Providing fresh water and clean bedding for each pet guest, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
- Maintaining accurate records of consumption and elimination for each pet, as well as reporting any concerns or issues to the General Manager or Assistant Manager.
- Monitoring and visual checks on pets throughout the day to ensure their safety and well-being.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 1 year of professional animal care experience, preferably in a kennel or boarding environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, veterinarians, and pet owners.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a degree in animal science or a related field is a plus.
- Ability to lift 40 pounds frequently and stand for long periods.
