Animal Care Professional

We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Animal Care Professional to join our team at All Community Animal Hospital.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional care and ensuring the well-being of our furry friends. If you're a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply.
About the RoleThis role is responsible for supporting the daily operations of our animal boarding facility. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing clean and comfortable living spaces for our guests, including sanitizing and disinfecting enclosures and common areas.
- Ensuring each pet receives the correct type and quantity of food, as well as fresh water throughout the day.
- Monitoring consumption and elimination of each pet, reporting any concerns to the General Manager or Assistant Manager.
- Visually checking pets for safety and well-being, intervening if necessary.
- Maintaining and cleaning food preparation areas, restocking exam rooms, and assisting veterinarians with patient care.
- Emptying trash, sweeping, and mopping floors as needed.
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- A professional manner and excellent communication skills.
- Experience working with animals, preferably in a kennel or boarding facility setting.
- The ability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical stamina to lift 40 pounds and stand for long periods.
- A strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
