We are seeking a highly skilled Radiation Medical Physicist to join our team at Baptist Health Louisville. As a key member of our radiation oncology department, you will play a crucial role in helping to plan the course of treatment for cancer patients under the direction of the Radiation Oncologist.
Key Responsibilities- Review and analyze computer applications relevant to treatment and quality assurance mechanisms regarding dose distribution.
- Participate in process improvement projects and prepare reports for monthly quality assurance meetings.
- Masters degree in therapeutic medical physics or medical radiation physics.
- Board certification or eligibility for certification in Therapeutic Medical Physics by the American Board of Radiology (ABR).
- Minimum 3-5 years of clinical experience.
- Advanced knowledge of computerized treatment planning systems, treatment machines, and accessories.
- Strong clinical knowledge of all aspects of medical radiation physics.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, and be on call as needed.
- Experience with Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS), Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT), Eclipse Treatment Planning System (TPS), and Aria Electronic Health Record (EHR).
