- Build strong relationships with patients, families, and caregivers, providing emotional support and guidance throughout the care process.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Supervise and mentor hospice aides, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current Registered Nurse licensure in the state.
- American Heart Association CPR certification required; CPR certification may be offered and completed upon hire.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, with one year of hospice experience preferred.
- Excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, basic math skills, and nursing skills per competency checklist.
