Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Scheduler to join our team. As a Project Scheduler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of our construction projects. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain program schedules, identifying relationships, logic, milestones, and constraints for construction projects of various types.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain program schedules, including identifying relationships, logic, milestones, and constraints for construction projects.
  • Review contractor's baseline schedule submissions and verify that all work scope is identified properly and logically sequenced correctly.
  • Perform QA/QC on contractor schedule submittals for conformance with the contract.
  • Conduct schedule time impact analysis for any change orders that affect the construction schedule.
  • Read drawings to determine if work is in or out of scope, and understand terms and conditions of the contract to determine if any compensable or non-compensable time extensions have merit.
  • Perform critical path analysis and earned value analysis.
  • Walk the construction sites as needed and check the contractor's weekly/monthly schedule progress.
  • Effectively communicate with the contractor regarding all schedule/progress-related matters and concerns.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.
  • Minimum 5 years of full-time paid professional experience in construction scheduling for an owner or general contractor.
  • Proficiency in Primavera Latest Version and MS Office Suite.
  • Experience with projects using Design-Bid-Build and Design-Build project delivery methods.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Superior organizational and planning skills.
  • Ability to build efficient working relationships with project teams and department staff.
