Job Title: Project Scheduler

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Scheduler to join our team at O2EPCM, Inc. dba O2 Engineering, Projects & Construction Management. As a Project Scheduler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain program schedules, identifying relationships, logic, milestones, and constraints for construction projects of various types.
  • Independently interpret and read detailed construction drawings and develop a clear understanding of work scope.
  • Review Contractor's Baseline schedule submissions and verify that all work scope is identified properly and logically sequenced correctly.
  • Perform QA/QC on contractor schedule submittals for conformance with the contract.
  • Perform schedule Time Impact Analysis for any change orders that affect the construction schedule.
  • Read drawings to determine if work is in or out of scope and understand terms and conditions of the contract.
  • Perform Critical Path analysis and Earned Value analysis.
  • Walk the construction sites as needed and check the contractor's weekly/monthly schedule progress.
  • Effectively communicate with the Contractor regarding all schedule/progress related matters and concerns.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of full-time paid professional experience in Construction Scheduling for an Owner or General Contractor, preferably in an educational facility or public works projects.
  • Proficiency in Primavera Latest Version and MS Office Suite.
Education:
  • Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.
  • OR Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor's degree in any course, but with additional 2 years of experience in Construction Scheduling to compensate for the required education.
Skills:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build efficient working relationships with project teams and department staff.
  • Superior organizational and planning skills.
  • Understanding of theories, principles, and practices of cost engineering, scheduling, and schedule forensics.
