About the Role

Fujifilm is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Manufacturing Associate to join our team in the production of medical ultrasound transducers. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for providing engineering and process development support for critical and proprietary processes used in the manufacture of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement improved process performance and product reliability
  • Work from requirements and problem descriptions with little supervision to resolve process problems to root cause
  • Provide New Product Introduction (NPI) support, including Design for Manufacturability (DFM) feedback
  • Mentor junior engineers, technicians, production management, and other personnel
  • Lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives to improve quality, cost, and delivery metrics
  • Manage supplier corrective actions and maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOMs) and procedures
  • Write clear and concise engineering reports
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in medical device manufacturing
  • Experience with thin film deposition processes and equipment (sputter) preferred
  • Experience with industry-standard cleaning processes (aqueous, plasma etching, etc.) preferred
  • Experience with dicing and precision machining processes and measuring equipment preferred
  • Experience with acoustic measurement of materials preferred
  • Strong PC skills (MS Word, Excel, CAD) required
  • Strong scientific approach to problem-solving (6 Sigma, DOE, etc.) required
  • Strong analytical abilities
  • Ability to carry 20-40lbs with or without accommodations
  • Ability to stand for periods of time throughout the day
