Overview:

We are currently seeking skilled Machine Operators to work in a dynamic production environment.

Role:

As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating production machinery in line with product specifications to ensure the production of high-quality goods. You will monitor product quality and make necessary adjustments to machinery as required.

It is essential to maintain a safe and organized workspace. Collaboration with fellow team members is crucial to foster a supportive and efficient production atmosphere.

Compensation:

Starting pay is $24.45 per hour, with weekly payments. Night shift employees receive an additional $1.50 per hour. No swing shifts are available.

Schedule:

12-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM or 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM, depending on staffing needs. The work schedule alternates between 36-hour and 48-hour weeks:
  • Week 1: 36 hours
  • Week 2: 48 hours
  • Week 3: 36 hours
  • Week 4: 48 hours

Responsibilities:

Training will be provided to ensure you can:
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and friendly work environment
  • Conduct quality measurements in accordance with SPC guidelines
  • Analyze data and make necessary adjustments within process control limits
  • Operate and fine-tune machinery as needed
Additionally, you will:
  • Identify and troubleshoot machinery repairs
  • Generate work orders for breakdowns and document related downtimes
  • Collaborate closely with process technicians and support staff to ensure optimal quality and machine uptime
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Basic computer skills are required. Training, tools, and safety equipment will be provided.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to:
  • Work an 8 to 12-hour shift, standing and walking for extended periods
  • Climb and ambulate independently
Adhere to safety warnings and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Ability to lift and carry products weighing up to 50 lbs, with occasional lifts up to 75 lbs. Lifts over 75 lbs require assistance.
