Overview of the Role:

As a key member of the management team, the Operations Assistant Store Manager will work closely with the Store Director to ensure the seamless execution of operational strategies within the store.

This role is pivotal in overseeing the efficiency of back-of-house operations, ensuring that all practices align with the company's goals and standards.

The Operations Assistant Store Manager will actively mentor and guide their team members, fostering a collaborative environment aimed at meeting productivity benchmarks.


Core Responsibilities:
  • Drive sales performance, manage controllable profits, and oversee payroll and P&L outcomes.
  • Coordinate the planning, scheduling, budgeting, and communication of essential operational tasks.
  • Organize the stockroom, ensuring effective merchandise setup, equipment management, and supply chain efficiency.
  • Oversee the flow of inbound and outbound freight, maintaining inventory accuracy through diligent dock-to-floor processes.
  • Address and resolve any maintenance or repair issues related to store facilities.
  • Develop and nurture team members, preparing them for future leadership roles and creating a talent pipeline for critical positions.
  • Participate in training initiatives for new company programs, procedures, and technologies.
  • Model and coach behaviors that consistently exceed performance metrics.

  • Demonstrated success in sales and results-oriented management.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects and shifting priorities.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building lasting relationships.
  • Thorough understanding of the fashion retail industry and a passion for sharing knowledge.
  • Ability to respond swiftly in routine situations, ensuring a positive outcome for customers.
  • Comfortable operating various store equipment such as POS systems and inventory management tools.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
