About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Scientist with expertise in RNAseq to join our team at Gable Search Group. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing RNAseq methods, collaborating with our team of distinguished leaders in the biotech field, and contributing to the generation of high-quality data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct RNAseq experiments on the Oxford Nanopore technology platform.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot NGS experiments to ensure assay robustness and data quality.
  • Decipher the mechanisms involved in sequencing, with a focus on enzymatic reactions.
  • Achieve established timelines, maintain accurate records, and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders.

Essential Qualifications:

  • PhD in molecular biology or a related field.
  • Ability to optimize RNAseq methods and troubleshoot issues.
  • Deep understanding of sequencing mechanisms, including enzymatic reactions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Essential Experience:

  • Research experience with novel method development expertise.
  • Data analysis and presentation skills.
  • NGS library prep, particularly with Oxford and RNASeq.
