POSITION SUMMARY
The Operations Specialist II plays a crucial role in executing specialized operational securities processing tasks that support the firm's various business lines. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: receiving and authenticating instructions, entering and verifying instructions (ensuring dual controls), processing and documenting transactions, generating reports, and performing reconciliations. Key areas of focus include Trade Entry, Foreign Exchange Processing, Trade Settlement, Corporate Action Processing, and Research Notification.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent communication abilities
- Strong analytical capabilities
- Proficient in multitasking and prioritizing tasks effectively
- Basic understanding of global custody, equity finance, prime brokerage, or securities lending sectors
- Familiarity with Securities Lending applications such as Global One, Equilend, and Loanet is advantageous
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- 0-1 years of relevant industry experience; experience in securities lending is a plus
