Calibration Specialist

The Calibration Specialist is responsible for maintaining, testing, and calibrating a variety of instruments and equipment to ensure accurate readings and compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Calibrate and maintain a range of test instruments, including electrical, dimensional, industrial/mechanical, temperature, and RF/optical equipment.
  • Ensure all instruments and equipment are calibrated correctly and perform accurate readings.
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with senior technicians and other team members to achieve calibration goals.
  • Develop and implement calibration procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Provide technical support and training to colleagues as needed.
  • Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in calibration technology.
  • Contribute to the development of calibration procedures and protocols.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical and dimensional equipment.
  • Experience in basic instrumentation and manual tools.
  • Basic mathematics understanding.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience with MS Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and under supervision.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
