We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nursing Assistant II + Clerical to join our dynamic team at UNC Medical Center in Chapel Hill, NC. As a Clinical Support Technician II, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our Neurosurgery/ENT Acute Care Unit.
Key Responsibilities- Assist physicians and other healthcare providers with routine examinations and procedures.
- Provide a variety of clerical tasks, including organizing and prioritizing workload, greeting and directing visitors, and maintaining medical records.
- Provide administrative and clerical support, including PI audits and data entry.
- Provide clinical support assistance, including cleaning the work area, maintaining office equipment, and transporting patients/supplies/specimens.
- Provide direct personal care to patients, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and assisting with ambulation.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Listed as Nursing Assistant II with the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
- One (1) year of clerical or customer service experience and six (6) months of related nursing assistant experience.
This is a 36 hours per week position, working 12-hour rotating shifts with some flexibility, and with weekend and holiday rotation. This position qualifies for an extensive benefit package, including PTO hours, which are accrued based on the number of worked hours.
