Job Summary

The Clinical Support Technician II is a vital member of our interdisciplinary team, providing exceptional patient care and administrative support in our Burn Center. This dynamic role requires a unique blend of clinical and clerical skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians and other healthcare providers with routine examinations and procedures, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Provide critical review of patient care documentation, identifying and reporting significant changes in patient condition to registered nurses or physicians.
  • Perform a variety of clerical tasks, including organizing and prioritizing workload, greeting and directing visitors, and maintaining medical records.
  • Provide administrative and clerical support, including PI audits, data entry, and supply inventory management.
  • Assist with patient care activities, such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and ambulation, while maintaining a focus on patient safety and dignity.
  • Measure and record vital signs, patient height and weight, and perform other clinical tasks as required.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
  • Listing as a Nursing Assistant I by the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • One year of clerical or customer service experience and three months of nursing assistant experience.
  • Fluency in verbal and written English language.
Work Environment

This is a 36-hour per week position, working 12-hour rotating shifts with weekend and holiday rotation. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team, working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care.
