Customer Service Representative

Position Overview:
The Customer Service Representative is essential in managing the daily functions of customer support.

This role requires an individual to exhibit leadership qualities while collaborating with both the customer service and logistics teams to ensure exceptional service delivery to Croda's clientele.


Key Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

1. Overseeing daily operations that support customer service activities, which encompass:
- Handling quotation requests
- Creating and processing new orders
- Completing order verification procedures
- Invoicing all dispatched shipments
2. Responding to customer inquiries through various communication channels
3. Executing customer service tasks efficiently
4. Ensuring customer satisfaction by addressing their needs promptly
5. Coordinating the shipment of hazardous materials in compliance with IATA regulations
6. Conducting systematic and in-person inventory management
7. Upholding quality standards throughout the shipping process

Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a preference for candidates possessing 3-5 years of relevant experience.

- Strong attention to detail
- High reliability and dependability
- Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently
- Excellent organizational skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Capability to work collaboratively within a team and independently

Must demonstrate leadership qualities, including effective communication, dependability, initiative, and integrity while fulfilling job responsibilities.
Exhibits problem-solving skills with minimal supervision and maintains strong organizational and time management capabilities.
Exercises sound judgment in decision-making and when to seek assistance.



Additional Qualifications:
Familiarity with ERP & SAP software is preferred but not mandatory.
Proficiency in MS Office applications
Understanding of international trade and customs regulations

Physical Requirements:


While performing the duties of this role, the employee is regularly required to communicate effectively, interact with customers and colleagues, and perform various physical tasks.
Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. (Personal Protective Equipment provided upon request).
Must be able to bend at the knees to reach specific locations during order selection and maintain the ability to sit and stand for extended periods.


Work Environment:
This position is primarily office-based.
