Installation Scheduler Job Description

Securitas Technology, a leading provider of integrated security solutions, is seeking a skilled Installation Scheduler to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful installation of our security solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule installation technicians to meet customer completion dates, working closely with district installation managers and project managers.
  • Coordinate the installation process for all assigned orders, from start to finish, in close alignment with project managers and field leadership.
  • Manage subcontractor schedules, including tracking arrivals and departures to/from customer sites.
  • Review new orders for customer contact information, scope of work, and allowances.
  • Act as the primary customer contact to obtain good completion dates and determine accurate projected start dates.
  • Maintain electronic installation folders for all assigned orders.
  • Manage changes to projected start dates and project scope, ensuring resources are scheduled and equipment is ordered.
  • Own equipment-related tasks, including submitting approved schedules, tracking equipment, processing RMAs, and contacting vendors for service invoices.
  • Review and submit subcontractor POs for approval and to accounts payable.
  • Close out tasks and reports after each project is complete, cleaning up MOR and processing signed CFIN in Solomon.
  • Create and document action items and notes in Solomon, escalating as needed when action items are not met.
  • Maintain installation schedules using Solomon or other company scheduling tools/systems for assigned orders.
  • Assist in follow-up with labor force via phone, email, etc. on customer expectations to meet PSD and CCD dates through script format.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast-paced working environment.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in operations scheduling, operations support, and/or project coordination.
  • Ability to demonstrate and possess a working knowledge of the installation processes and systems, including an understanding of the overall order-to-cash process.
  • Highly motivated individual with a combination of professional business skills and basic technical knowledge.
  • Leader with effective communication skills, ability to interact well with internal and external customers, and practice good problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and other computer systems, as well as database management and project management system input and maintenance.
  • Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to multitask.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers as needed.
