**Logistics Coordinator**

Pilgrim's is seeking a **Logistics Coordinator** who will oversee the planning and execution of customer replenishment shipments in the most economical and effective manner, while ensuring all customer service standards are met. This role requires collaboration with sales and supply chain teams, and the ideal candidate will be proactive and committed to excellence.

**Key Responsibilities:**
  • Schedule daily shipments from the designated facility.
  • Analyze shipment routes and freight expenses to maximize savings.
  • Support claims resolution for transportation of rejected goods.
  • Monitor and track delayed shipments and potential issues.
  • Communicate updates regarding scheduled drivers, load delays, and drop trailers to relevant teams.
  • Evaluate and maintain carrier performance metrics for timely deliveries.
  • Manage drop trailer and plant trailer inventories.
  • Foster and sustain relationships with plant staff, carriers, and sales teams.
  • Engage in daily communications with carriers to build strong partnerships.
  • Be available on-call 24/7 to address any transportation or carrier-related concerns.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
**Qualifications:**
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Previous experience in the logistics sector is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy are essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities are necessary.
  • Familiarity with SAP is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred, including basic skills in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • As a salaried employee, occasional travel to other facilities or events may be required based on business needs.
