Key Responsibilities:

Perform early issue identification, tracking and resolution to ensure segment leadership.

Provide clear and timely communication to Quality, Operations and Program management relative to quality issues.

Collaborate with engineering teams to provide timely containment in order to meet build and validation schedules.

Work with Validation owners to ensure that any defects are contained/corrected in manner that protects Validation activities.

Lead launch and current product problem solving activities.

Deploy quality work according to planned development timing.

Work with the product team to identify and gather critical status updates for Quality reviews.

Facilitate Quality Review meetings with integrity of presentation materials.

Mentor and teach UAW-represented Hourly individuals and Program Teams in use of our Quality tracking and resolution systems.

Understand and work within Global Manufacturing System (Client) Business Plan Deployment (BPD) framework.

Typical Day:

Assigned a program to support

Check program walls for PRC for promoting or creating

Support demos

Attending meetings with QE lead

Look at scrip disposition

Follow quality standards with GM

End of shift report to leads

IRT Issue Resolution Team:

Launch team

Floor builders

Suppliers

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical field preferred

2+ years of experience in quality engineering

Experience with automotive or supplier industry
