Job Summary

The Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for planning and executing system functional testing, related data analysis, and user acceptance testing coordination and support. This role will work closely with the QA Team Lead, project manager, or IT manager to ensure the successful implementation of system enhancements and functional changes.

Key Responsibilities

* Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business requirements to develop test strategies and detailed test cases.
* Works directly with Insurance business staff from Claims, Underwriting, Accounting, State Filings, and Premium Operations departments to assist with user acceptance tests.
* Documents test results in a traceability matrix to ensure system functions are adequately tested.
* Communicates issues and verifies issue resolution.
* Provides testing progress and status reporting to project management.

Requirements

* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required.
* 6+ years' experience in software testing.
* 5+ years Commercial Property & Casualty insurance products experience including Commercial Auto, General Liability, Workers' Compensations, and Property lines.
* Experience with processes and systems supporting Claims, Billing, and Underwriting functions.
* Proficient in test design and test execution tasks.
* Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

Preferred Qualifications

* Prior completion of Guidewire Training Modules and/or certifications is highly preferred.
* Will consider candidates who commit to complete additional Guidewire curriculum for the Quality Assurance Analyst role within the first 6 months.
