Job Description

Job Summary:

The Community Wellness Project LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Traveling School Psychologist to join our team. As a Traveling School Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing leadership and expertise in developing, screening, and identifying programs and services for pupils in special education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, including appropriate diagnostic psycho-educational evaluations of individual children for education placement.
  • Arrange and participate in group and/or individual conferences with parents, teachers, administrators, and other personnel.
  • Prepare confidential written reports of educational and psychological findings and interpret individual diagnostic studies to parents, teachers, administrators, and other personnel directly concerned with the child.
  • Provide educational recommendations for pupil placement and individual educational plans.
  • Consult with other agencies, school districts, psychologists, psychiatrists, and physicians for the purpose of correlating all available information regarding individual cases.
  • Participate in staff meetings, community mental health services meetings, and other community groups upon request.
  • Maintain confidential records of referred children and adhere to the ethics of confidentiality.
  • Maintain and improve professional competence through participation in Inservice education provided by the district and/or professional organizations.
  • Provide other services and duties as needed and assigned.

Requirements:

To be successful as a Traveling School Psychologist, you will need to have a strong background in school psychology, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
