Position Overview: The Refrigeration Compliance Coordinator plays a vital role in assisting the sustainability analyst. Key responsibilities include managing asset tagging, ensuring adherence to refrigeration regulations, and maintaining precise records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tag refrigeration equipment, including freezers, coolers, and HVAC systems.
  • Document essential details (such as make, model, location, and maintenance history) for each tagged unit.
  • Input asset data and upload images into the Corrigo system.
  • Stay updated on refrigeration regulations and compliance standards.
  • Communicate effectively to guarantee accurate data entry and timely updates.
  • Be prepared for extended travel, including air travel.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (relevant certifications are advantageous).
  • Familiarity with refrigeration systems and components.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving regulations and industry standards.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • A collaborative team player who thrives in a dynamic environment.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred.

Travel Requirements: This role necessitates travel across various operational states. A valid driver's license is required, along with the ability to travel by air. Overnight travel may be necessary, and candidates should be able to rent a vehicle or utilize their personal vehicle for local assignments.

Physical Demands: The physical requirements for this position include the ability to sit, stand, and handle objects regularly. Candidates should be capable of:

  • Walking continuously throughout the shift.
  • Climbing to install asset tags, which may involve using a small ladder.
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs. regularly and occasionally up to 60 lbs.

Work Environment: The primary work setting is typical of a retail grocery store, with some responsibilities in an office environment.
