About the Role:

Belden is seeking an experienced Environmental Health and Safety Manager to join our team. As a key member of our EHS team, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing environmental and safety activities to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement environmental and safety programs to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and company policies.
  • Monitor facilities for compliance with local, state, and federal EPA and OSHA regulations.
  • Interpret environmental and safety laws and regulations, and implement requirements into plant operations and compliance programs.
  • Develop and conduct environmental safety training to ensure compliance and employee understanding.
  • Ensure training records are maintained and up to date.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in chemical, civil engineering, safety, environmental science, or related discipline.
  • 5-7 years of experience in industrial environment.
  • Knowledge of policies, regulations, and specifications of requirements governing EPA, DOT, OSHA, NFPA, and other regulatory agencies.
  • Experience in manufacturing environment with specific environmental compliance experience preferred.
