Health and Safety Educator

The YMCA of Greater Richmond is seeking a dedicated and certified Health and Safety Instructor to join our team. As a key member of our aquatics department, you will be responsible for developing and facilitating training programs for aquatic staff and the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement training programs for lifeguards and aquatic staff
- Collaborate with the Aquatics Director to ensure program effectiveness and quality
- Maintain current certifications in lifeguarding, CPR, and first aid
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to our members and staff
Requirements:
- Current YMCA, American Red Cross, or Ellis Lifeguard certification
- Instructor/trainer level lifeguard certification
- CPR/AED certifications
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
