Job Opportunity

The YMCA of Greater Richmond is seeking a dedicated and certified Health and Safety Instructor to join our team. As a key member of our aquatics department, you will be responsible for developing and facilitating training programs for aquatic staff and the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement training programs for lifeguards and aquatic staff
  • Collaborate with the Aquatics Director to ensure program effectiveness and quality
  • Maintain current certifications in lifeguarding, CPR, and first aid
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to our members and staff

Requirements:

  • Current YMCA, American Red Cross, or Ellis Lifeguard certification
  • Instructor/trainer level lifeguard certification
  • CPR/AED certifications
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
