Fire Safety and Emergency Response Team Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Safety and Emergency Response Team Leader to join our team at DuPont's Spruance site in Richmond, VA. As a key member of the Site Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) team, you will provide technical support and coordination for fire protection and emergency response efforts.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement improvements and modifications in fire safety and emergency response processes
- Manage the site fire safety inspector and resident fire safety contractors
- Host and participate in fire safety audits and inspections
- Provide leadership and guidance to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Interact with regulatory agencies and interface with site operations and leadership
- BS in Fire Safety, EHS, or engineering discipline, or equivalent external work experience
- Significant work experience as a fire officer with hazmat, EMS, and technical rescue
- Sound technical and regulatory-based fire safety knowledge
- Ability to read and comprehend construction blueprints and specifications
- National Incident Management System (NIMS) certification
