Job Summary

The Vascular Technologist will perform high-quality vascular imaging for geriatric patients in various body planes, resulting in the production of diagnostic images for interpretation.

The role requires the use of duplex ultrasound instruments, plethysmographic instruments, and non-invasive arterial pressure measurement techniques to perform tests.

Providing patient care is essential to ultrasound imaging, and the technologist must recognize patient conditions requiring immediate action.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma Required
  • Accredited Vascular program approved by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education
  • Three (3) years of experience as a Vascular Sonographer
  • Current registration by ARDMS/BLS certified
  • Registered Vascular Technologist
  • Able to work independently
  • Proficient in using selective PACS/EPIC systems
