Position: Vascular Imaging Specialist

Location: Atlanta, GA

Qualifications Required:
- Must possess a valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
- Preferred certifications include Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiology (CV) or Vascular-Interventional Radiology.
- A minimum of two years of experience in interventional radiology, special procedures, cardiac catheterization lab, or general diagnostic imaging is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in over-the-wire techniques is essential.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory, though it can be obtained within 90 days of employment.

Educational Background:
- Candidates must hold at least an Associate's degree in Applied Science in Radiology Technology along with an ARRT certification.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting various invasive diagnostic and therapeutic vascular procedures.
- Execute specialized and routine diagnostic imaging procedures, including nuclear medicine and sonography.
- Support radiologists during fluoroscopic and specialized x-ray examinations, ensuring images are prepared for review by the radiologist or referring physician.
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot malfunctions, and conduct minor repairs on radiologic equipment, coordinating repairs as necessary.
- Monitor patients throughout procedures, operating a C-Arm within the scope of practice.
