About the Role:

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and diagnostic imaging services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices.
  • Provide patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment, demonstrating knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology.
  • Provide patient care to all age groups, including neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
  • Communicate effectively with staff and radiologists to ensure seamless patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an AMA-approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or equivalent experience according to Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC).
  • None.
  • None. Must become registered by the ARDMS within (6) months of employment. Vascular Sonographers must become registered and/or RVT, RVS, RT(S), RT(VS) within (6) months of employment. Licensure requirement for Breast Ultrasound can be met with registration through ARRT (BS).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BLS certified.
  • One (1) year of experience is preferred.
  • Registered ARDMS and/or RVS/RVT (Registered Vascular Specialist) is desired.
