Job Overview

Join our dedicated team at Oncology Service, where we are committed to providing exceptional care in the field of ophthalmology. We are seeking a skilled technician to enhance our clinic's operations.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for a variety of clinical and administrative tasks that ensure the smooth operation of our facility. These responsibilities include:

  • Gathering patient histories and conducting thorough workups.
  • Performing comprehensive diagnostic tests, including clinical eye tonometry, visual field assessments, and both A-scan and B-scan ultrasonography.
  • Preparing patients for treatment procedures and assisting with laser operations and injections.
  • Providing brief counseling to patients, offering information about treatment options, medication usage, and addressing inquiries regarding surgical procedures.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of two years of experience in ophthalmology is preferred.
  • COA/COT certification is highly desirable.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; experience in scribing is a plus.
  • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision and to thrive under pressure.
  • A willingness to adapt to change and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
