About the Role

St. Bonaventure University is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President for Finance and Administration to join its leadership team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic financial leadership and oversight to the university, ensuring the effective management of its financial resources, and driving business operations to support the institution's mission and goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans and strategies to achieve the university's goals and objectives.
  • Provide financial leadership and oversight to the university's business operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement business strategies that align with the university's mission and goals.
  • Lead and manage the finance and administrative teams to ensure effective and efficient operations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including banks, investors, and regulatory agencies.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and university policies.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance and administration, with a proven track record of success in a leadership role.
  • Strong financial management and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and implement financial plans and strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
