Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare daily Restaurant Revenue Report data by auditing Point of Service tapes/journals to breakdown revenue, covers, waiters' fees, tips paid out, and settlements by type and cashier.
  • Run audit reports/journals from the front office system, Point of Service, and the computer, making corrections and adjustments as needed.
  • Input revenue, expenses, and allowances into the front office system to generate daily reports, such as the Guest Ledger Summary and the Daily Restaurant Summary.
  • Balance all revenue and settlement accounts nightly, maintaining files and resetting the system for next day operations.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; 2+ years prior guest service experience preferred, preferably in a hospitality setting.
  • Prior night audit or accounting experience a plus.
  • Excellent computer knowledge and communication skills necessary.
  • Attention to detail, customer-focused, and ability to perform job duties in a fast-paced environment.
