Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified individual to fill a faculty employment opportunity at Life Pacific University. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students, as well as contributing to the academic community through research and service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach courses in a specific academic discipline, developing and delivering curriculum that aligns with the university's mission and goals.
  • Mentor students, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their academic and professional goals.
  • Contribute to the development of academic programs, including curriculum design and assessment.
  • Engage in scholarly research and publication, staying current in their field and contributing to the advancement of knowledge.
  • Participate in university service, including committee work and other activities that support the academic community.

Requirements:

  • Master's or doctoral degree in a relevant field.
  • Teaching experience, preferably at the university level.
  • Strong research and publication record.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a Christian higher education environment.
  • Knowledge of the university's statement of faith and mission.
  • Ability to provide pastoral care and support to students.
