About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Armed Security Officer to join our team at National Guard Employment Network. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors, ensuring their needs are met and they feel safe and secure.
  • Surveillance: Conduct regular patrols of the assigned location, surveying the area and reporting on any activity.
  • Critical Response: Respond quickly and effectively in critical situations, using your training and experience to de-escalate conflicts and ensure the safety of all parties.
  • Reporting: Write detailed reports of incidents and activities, providing accurate and timely information to management.
  • Access Control: Monitor and control access to the location, ensuring that only authorized personnel and visitors are allowed entry.
  • Visitor Management: Direct visitors to their desired destination, ensuring they are aware of the location's security protocols and procedures.
  • Security Camera Monitoring: Monitor security cameras to ensure the location is secure and identify any potential security threats.
  • Rover Patrol: Conduct regular rover patrols of the location, both on foot and in a vehicle, to ensure the area is secure and identify any potential security threats.
  • Lockdown Procedures: Ensure the location is locked and secured overnight and open during the day, following established protocols and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school education or equivalent (GED)
  • Experience: 6 months prior Military or Law Enforcement Security experience
  • Licenses and Certifications: Armed security license or ability to obtain one if required
  • Age: 21 years of age for driving posts that operate company vehicles
  • Driver's License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record if security post operates a company vehicle
  • Transportation: Reliable transportation
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time
