Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Office Coordinator to join our team at Orthopaedic Solutions Management.

As a key member of our front desk staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our office, providing exceptional patient care, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities
  • Patient Check-In: Greet patients upon arrival, verify their information, and ensure they have completed all required intake processes.
  • Insurance Verification: Verify patients' insurance coverage, scan new insurance cards, and update their accounts in Athena.
  • Payment Collection: Collect co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances from patients.
  • Check-In Process: Begin the check-in process in Athena, print financial agreements, and obtain patient signatures.
  • Paperwork Preparation: Prepare paperwork for the next day's clinic and upload outside imaging CDs into Medview PACs.
  • Scheduling: Schedule follow-up appointments and complete end-of-day batches.
  • Disability Form Payments: Process disability form payments and scan daily batches in Z drive.

About You

  • You have a high school diploma and 2 years of experience in a medical environment.
  • You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • You are detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask with accuracy.
