About the Role:

The Washington State Patrol is seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, integrity, and governance of data assets within our agency.

Key Responsibilities:

This position will collaborate with federal, state, and local data governance management to develop cooperative and shared approaches to data governance. You will lead the work to revise and develop an enterprise strategic data model for WSP, involving internal stakeholders and external partners. Additionally, you will work closely with data management teams, business stakeholders, and IT professionals to establish and maintain enterprise data standards, definitions, contracts, technologies, policies, and processes.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of data governance principles and practices. You will also need to be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
