Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Career Technology Instructor to join our team at the Baltimore City Public School System. As a Career Technology Instructor, you will play a critical role in providing students with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in the workforce.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement curriculum for Career and Technical Education programs
  • Collaborate with industry partners to provide students with work-based learning experiences
  • Provide instruction and guidance to students in a skills-based learning environment
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents
  • Stay current with industry trends and developments to ensure curriculum remains relevant and effective
Requirements
  • Maryland State Department of Education Teaching license with Work-based Learning endorsement
  • Previous experience in teaching work-based learning or workforce management
  • Ability to integrate technology with the curriculum
  • Problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other staff members
