Masonry Instructor

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Masonry Instructor to join our team at Baltimore City Public Schools. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing an instructional program in Career Technology Education (CTE) and providing related educational services for students in a skills-based learning environment.

• Develop and implement instructional materials and activities that meet the needs of students in a Masonry program.
• Assess student abilities and progress, and make adjustments to instructional strategies as needed.
• Collaborate with other professionals to maximize learning opportunities and ensure student success.
• Manage student behavior and maintain a safe and healthy learning environment.
• Communicate with parents and students to keep them informed of progress and provide support as needed.

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Career and Technology Education or in the career area to be taught.
• Two years of occupational experience in the career area to be taught.
• Possession of or eligibility for NCCER instructor certification.
• Possession of or eligibility for Instructor Certification Training Program (ICTP).

• Teaching experience preferred (student teaching acceptable).
• Experience in one or more of the major areas of stone work and or Masonry, with an emphasis on multiple area skill sets.
