About the Role

We're a leading technology company in the gaming industry, and we're looking for a seasoned Software Engineering Manager to join our team. As a key member of our engineering organization, you'll be responsible for leading a team of engineers to develop and maintain our game infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of engineers to design, develop, and deploy scalable game infrastructure solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize technical requirements.
  • Develop and implement technical strategies to improve the performance, security, and reliability of our game platforms.
  • Work closely with external studios to integrate their games with our platform.
  • Drive technical innovation and experimentation to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of engineers.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in large-scale software environments, with at least 2 years managing Engineering teams.
  • Proven background in game development, real-time rendering, or similar environments, with experience using Unity or other game engines.
  • Strong technical leadership skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems.
  • Passion for gaming and delivering high-quality interactive experiences.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $156,000 - $195,000 per year, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our company is a publicly traded technology company headquartered in Boston, and we're committed to creating a positive and inclusive work environment.
