Role Responsibilities

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-focused care and overseeing all unit functions during their shift. Working alongside the management team, the CNC ensures compliance with established protocols, serves as a resource for nursing staff, and embodies the organization's mission and values to enhance patient experiences and clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Facilitating admission and discharge processes to optimize patient flow and care quality.
  • Engaging in ongoing evaluations of patient care services in collaboration with management.
  • Fostering teamwork among staff and management to improve service delivery and outcomes.
  • Upholding a patient-first philosophy and addressing service recovery when necessary.
  • Implementing nursing strategies to enhance staff engagement and operational efficiency.
  • Contributing to the recruitment, training, and development of nursing staff.
  • Managing staff schedules and ensuring adequate coverage based on patient needs.
  • Overseeing inventory management and supply procurement.
Qualifications Required
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
  • PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification within 90 days of employment.
  • Current Registered Nurse license.
  • Diploma, Associate Degree, or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
