Position Overview

WWC Engineering is seeking a qualified Project Manager who is also a Professional Licensed Surveyor. This role is pivotal in guiding our expert teams through the development, procurement, and execution of projects across various domains including surveying, engineering, and planning.

The Project Manager will oversee activities related to boundary surveying, land development, water resource management, and irrigation projects. Responsibilities will also encompass regulatory permitting, public engagement, and the preparation of technical documents such as plats, records of survey, and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead land surveys to define legal property boundaries.
  • Conduct research on historical maps and land records, including previous surveys.
  • Prepare and maintain essential data, documents, legal descriptions, and reports related to land surveys.
  • Document all survey outcomes, including land dimensions, locations, contours, and elevations.
  • Analyze survey data and perform calculations to ascertain shapes, positions, and elevations.
  • Utilize advanced technology such as GPS, total stations, UAVs, and scanners for data collection and report generation.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams, clients, and stakeholders to review and coordinate project findings.
  • Manage survey equipment inventory and oversee necessary repairs, communicating costs to management.
  • Stay informed about federal, state, and local surveying regulations and best practices.
  • Supervise survey technicians and facilitate communication with project managers.
  • Coordinate data collection efforts on engineering projects and train staff in survey methodologies.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and be capable of operating vehicles for project-related travel.
  • Perform additional administrative tasks as assigned by management.

This position may require travel using company vehicles, contingent upon possessing a valid driver's license and meeting insurance requirements. Additionally, the offer is subject to the successful completion of a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
