Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Facility Operations Management: Oversee the operation and maintenance of all facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
  • Maintenance Protocols: Develop and enforce facility maintenance protocols and schedules.
  • Custodial Services: Manage and supervise custodial staff to ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the facility.
  • Groundskeeping: Supervise groundskeeping activities to maintain the exterior of the facility, including landscaping and snow removal.
  • Machinery Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and repair of manufacturing machinery and equipment.
  • Capital Projects: Manage capital improvement projects such as facility upgrades, renovations, and expansions.
  • Vendor Management: Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Financial Management: Develop and manage the facility maintenance budget, including forecasting and tracking expenses.

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in facility management, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and mechanical systems; experience in developing maintenance budgets and overseeing new equipment installs; familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety practices; excellent organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and facility management software.
